Former Sussex captain (now club president) and past MCC President John Barclay will be bringing the curtain down on the Dorset Cricket Societies’ winter season at Christchurch FC, Hurn Bridge on Thursday afternoon, 1.45pm.
John, one of the county’s leading after-dinner speakers, will be talking about 'Cricket From All Angles’ and bringing with him some copies of his book - Life Beyond the Airing Cupboard. As you would expect, it is both charming and humorous and was in fact a past winner of the MCC/Cricket Society Book of the Year.
This is a ‘must attend’ and non-members are more than welcome along. There is plenty of car parking available.
