The one-time Bournemouth all-rounder began his five-over spell by dismissing Ventnor linchpin Mark Fletcher (43) and finished it with a hat-trick as the ten-man island team, fielding only three recognized first team players, collapsed from 55-0 to 102 all out. Damian Smith and Sam Cross shared the other four wickets.
Aided by 35 extras, mainly wides, Overton were home and dry in the 16th over, Ahnkit Patel hitting an unbeaten 40.
Overton now go to Easton & Martyr Worthy (eight-wicket winners over Tichborne Park, 57 all out) at Cockets Mead on Sunday, 2pm.
