Leaders Rowledge will want their top order batting to fire when Southern Premier Division 1 strugglers Sparsholt visit School Road.
They have strung together five straight wins since Alton beat them on May 21, but all too often of late the youngsters in the middle-order have been the Rowledge match winners, none more so than in the past fortnight when 17-year old pair Ryan Littlewood and Oli Ryman have played star roles.
"We've got six teenagers in our side and its great they are taking often huge responsibility, but I'd prefer it if they didn't go to the crease with us 20-4," smiled skipper Ben Wish, who has the rare luxury of naming an unchanged side against Sparsholt.
"Quite a number of the lads are at university, so their availability has been fluid, but everyone's back now so that augers well."
Sparsholt have David Banks listed to play after a four-week sabbatical.
Rowledge: B Wish, Yates, J Wish, Seeborn, LeRoux, Harvey, O Ryman, Littlewood, Baker, Lloyd, Forbes.
Second placed Calmore Sports are only nine points behind Rowledge ahead of a familiar SPL and Village Cup weekend.
They hoist Ventnor before entertaining Grampound Road in a rearranged Voneus Village Cup sixth round tie, both at Loperwood Park.
Calmore were originally due to travel overnight to the outskirts of Truro, but Grampound Road, who are hosting the Cornwall League T20 finals on Sunday, have been forced to concede home advantage.
Calmore Sports: Bailey, Brewster, Carty, Croft, Fisher, Johns, Johnson, Lavelle, Manning, Parker, Perry.
Third-placed Sarisbury Athletic are without three first choice players for the visit of basement boys Liphook & Ripsley to Allotment Road. Cameron Grierson, Tom Mills and all-rounder Jordan Wright are absent.
Sarisbury Athletic: J Hill, Rawlins, Floyd, Lovett, Orr, Feltham, Franklin, Degrussa, S Hill, Sanders, Jewell.
Alton have left-hand all-rounder Tom South back for the May's Bounty derby with Basingstoke & North Hants, who will have their third captain of the season at the helm.
Influential spin all-rounder Ash Neal, who replaced Dan Belcher in May, has gone travelling, so Joe Oates takes the armband.
Portsmouth rekindled their promotion hopes with a five-wicket win at Ventnor and need a repeat when New Milton visit Southsea seafront.
New Milton: Watts, Edwards, L Beck, Adams, Golding, Bartlett, Loader, R Beck, Hall, Wooster, Griffiths.
