Liam Dawson is set to return to the Hampshire fold for Wednesday's T20 match against Dorset at Bashley (Rydal), 5 o'clock.
Although he did not play in the tournament as such, Dawson was part of the England squad which carried off that dramatic ICC World Cup final 'super over' victory over New Zealand at Lord's on Sunday.
He has not played a competitive match since England's CWC warm-up defeat by Australia at the Ageas Bowl on May 25 and has not appeared in Hampshire's colours since the opening day of the Isle of Wight Cricket Festival match against Nottinghamshire a week earlier.
Tom Alsop, recently sidelined with a hamstring injury, is also set to play.
