South Wilts face a stern challenge from one of their Wiltshire neighbours, Potterne in the second round of the ECB Royal London national club championship at Bemerton on Sunday, 1pm.
Potterne, who knocked Totton & Eling out in the first round, are fast riding through the West of England Premier League pyramid and have four Wiltshire Minor Counties players in their side.
South Wilts have only six of the normal Premier League side in action.
South Wilts: Morton, Abel, Cranch, Wade, Hayward, Hibberd, Pittman, Pittman, Foley, Burton, Draper, Kidd.
Basingstoke & North Hants host Burridge at May’s Bounty, while Havant – who frequently reach the last 16 – slip across the Sussex county border to play Middleton.
Lymington, who knocked Fawley out in the first round, face the long haul to Ventnor’s Steephill bowl.
Several local sides are also in rain delayed Davidstow Village Cup action tomorrow, among them New Forest club Ellingham, who host Bransgore at Pickett Post.  Paultons travel to play Hambledon, having hosted them at Whitemoor Lane today. Parley play Lacock, from Wiltshire.
