Work is well under way on the refurbishment of Lymington’s new clubhouse and pavilion at the town’s Sports Ground. The interior of the building is currently being reshaped and the concrete foundations for the extension, to include new toilets and a scorer’s room, have been laid. Local building company HH Drew are undertaking the project which will comfortably be completed in time for Lymington opening ‘white ball’ 50-over derby against Bashley (Rydal) on May 20. The opening two league games of the season at the Sports Ground involve Lymington seconds in HL County Division 1.
