Yesterday’s Southern Premier League Division 2 match between Liphook & Ripsley and South Wilts II at Ripsley Park was abandoned in the third over after a head injury sustained by Millfield youngster Josh Croom.
Josh was taken to hospital where he had three stitches in a laceration at the back of his head. He has since been discharged and expects to make a full recovery in time to play in Saturday’s home match with Totton & Eling at Bemerton.
