Matt Metcalfe is gunning for his fifth Southern Premier League bowling award in the past seven years.
The Lymington right-arm seamer, who chalked up his 400th wicket earlier this summer, looks almost certain to win the bowling prize again after taking his season’s tally to 40 last weekend.
He went into Lymington’s match against Burridge today (SAT) with six wickets more than 2015 winner, Julian Ballinger.
Bashley (Rydal) captain Michael Porter is ahead of the game in the run-making department, having scored 61 more than his Havant counterpart Ben Walker.
New Milton’s Tom Arnold has two victims more than South Wilts’ Sam Pittman in the chase for the golden gloves award.
