Matt Metcalfe has been named as the ECB Southern Premier Division's Cricketer of the Month for May - an award sponsored by sports equipment specialists Cricket-Hockey.com from Downton, in association with this website - after leading Lymington to top spot in the table.
He has taken 11 wickets, conceding only 114 runs in 38 overs, 11 of which have been maidens, in Lymington's four matches, all of which they have won. He also made a vital contribution with the bat, scoring an unbeaten 36 in last week's win at Burridge.
