Hampshire's Lewis McManus (left) made his first positive step back on the comeback trail by scoring 47 and taking two catches in Andover's six-wicket win over patched-up Southern Premier League Division 1 rivals Ventnor at London Road.
McManus had previously been sidelined with concussion after being injured in Hampshire's County Championship defeat by Yorkshire last month.
Fielding only four of the side that knocked Chichester Priory Park out of the ECB Royal London Cup the previous weekend, Ventnor were bowled out for 125 (Charlie Calloway 36), spinner Charlie Ayres taking 4-38.
It was a stroll after that, with Ali Hooper (25), Glyn Treagus (40) and McManus (47) guiding the Lions to an easy win.
Promoted Rowledge began life back in SPL1 with a comfortable 51-run win at Old Tauntonians & Romsey, where a 99-run second wicket partnership between Chris Yates (82) and Sam Plater (44) set up the visitors' 178-6.
OTs lost wickets at ten-run intervals - Steve Martin taking 4-38 and teenager Oli Baker 3-30 - and were dismissed for 127 (Jody Brown 25).
