A mid-season coup today saw three Southern Premier League overnight leaders toppled, with -
  • Premier Division table toppers Bournemouth beaten by St Cross Symondians; 
  • Division 1 leaders Totton & Eling shot out for 76 by resurgent Basingstoke & North Hants; and
  • Liphook & Ripsley skittle SPL2 top dogs OTs & Romsey for 82 and win by nine wickets.

ECB PREMIER DIVISION (50 overs)

Alton 144 (S Myers 48, Southon 4-30, Fraser 3-36) Burridge 132 (target score 140 off 40 overs)(Southon 34, Walters 4-22). Alton won by seven runs.

Havant 211-9 (H Gadd 65, Bulled 33, Hindley 28, Divecha 3-34) Hook & Newnham Basics 129 (Lockwood 52, Divecha 24, Jerry 6-26, F Gadd 3-36). Havant won by 82 runs.

Hampshire Academy 109 (Broderick 23, Cox 6-15) Lymington 111-4 (Du Plooy 58, Cox 24). Lymington won by six wickets.

South Wilts 244-8 (Morton 93, Rowe 51, Huntley 33, Hussey 28, Wilson 4-33) Bashley (Rydal) 125 (target score 206 off 38 overs)(Gordon 29, Stroud 24). South Wilts won by 81 runs.

St Cross Symondians 127 (Beetham 30, T Foyle 21, Bracken 4-42, Pack 3-10) Bournemouth 80 (Matthews 22, H Foyle 3-16, Woolvine 3-24). St Cross Symondians won by 47 runs (38 over match)

Sarisbury Athletic 101 (Lovett 49, Hall 3-5) New Milton 105-3 (Golding 36). New Milton won by seven wickets.
