Lymington anticipate their refurbished and effectively rebuilt single storey pavilion and clubhouse at the town’s Sports Ground will be fully operational for the visit of former British Gas Southern Premier League champions South Wilts on July 8. The new club facility, which incorporates dressing rooms, a lounge bar area and kitchen, was due to have been opened in mid-May but, with sub-contractors busily engaged in internal decorating, it shouldn’t be too long before the first clubhouse pint is poured. The near completion of the clubhouse coincides with what appears a much improved playing surface at the Sports Ground.
