New Milton have recruited Cape Town based spin all-rounder Harlan Greig as their overseas player for the upcoming Southern Premier Division 1 campaign and will make his competitive debut for the Green & Golds against Sarisbury Athletic at Allotment Road on Saturday, 12.30.
Greig (24) is no stranger to these shores, having spent the 2017 season with Macclesfield and both 2018/19 at Clacton-on-Sea, where he skippered the town side in the Two Counties League Division 2 in his second season. A top order batsman and leg-spin bowler from top Western Province club Claremont , he had been due to play for Corsham in the WEPL last summer.
He is joined at Fernhill by Wimborne & Colehill seam bowling all-rounder Ed Bartlett, while Oli Shrubsole (Bournemouth) and wicketkeeper Luke Mortimore (Lymington) have moved on.
