Lymington collapsed to 109 all out and a crushing 142-run defeat by Basingstoke & North Hants, who recovered from 48-3 to post a formidable 251-9 at the Sports Ground.
Max Harsham, with a league best 93, and opener Ben Thane (71) orchestrated the Basingstoke recovery after Matt Metcalfe, with a tidy 2-30 off his 18 overs, and Simon Beetham had made the initial breakthroughs.
Thane steadied the ship before Harsham, with ten fours in his 93, and Mitch Stokes (28) turned the match in the visitors’ favour.
Dom Hand (3-74) took three of the last four wickets to fall, but by then Basingstoke were headed for their winning total.
Ryan Scott (36) took Lymington’s reply to 65-2, but the remaining batsmen found David Griffiths (5-28) too hot to handle. Stokes weighed in with 3-22 as Lymington sank to 109 all out and a third straight defeat.
