Talented opening batsman/wicketkeeper Josh May, pictured celebrating a catch, has been named Basingstoke & North Hants’ Player of the Year.
In addition to making 283 runs in a demanding role, May topped the Southern Premier League Division 2 wicketkeeping charts, with 24 dismissals, 15 catches and nine stumpings. He was awarded player of the year not only for his cricket but for all the help and dedication around the May’s Bounty club.
Joe Oates was named 1st XI player of the year.
