Teenage Langley Manor all-rounder Elliott Ponting (left) made his third 70-plus score in four Southern Premier League matches, hitting an unbeaten 75 at Rowledge.
Despite his efforts, promotion chasing Rowledge clung on by three runs as the Manor finished at 181-6, chasing their hosts' 184 all out.
Ben Morgan (3-13) and Luke Mooney (3-41) shared six of the wickets as Rowledge recovered from an indifferent start to made 184 (Chris Yates 48),
while Ponting had to carry the baton after the visitors had slipped to 104-5.
