Jadon Buckeridge produced a stunning individual performance to steer Portsmouth Grammar to a 37-run victory over Bradfield and into Wednesday’s final of the School Sports Magazine national Under-17 Cup final against Sedbergh at Cumnor, next Oxford.
The teenage Ventnor all-rounder followed up a half-century with the bat by taking 4-24 with his off-spin.
Buckeridge (51), Alex Willoughby (35) and Ben Caldera (25) took PGS to 190 all out.
Bradfield, rocked by a new ball spell by Dan Mugford (3-34), replied with 153-9 after Buckeridge had wrecked their middle-order.
