It’s crunch time for Tichborne Park and Totton & Eling as to who accompanies Trojans into Southern Premier League Division 3 next season.
The pair are battling neck and neck to avoid the drop, with Totton going into their round 16 match against promotion chasing Rowledge with an eight point lead over Tichborne Park.
The Alresford village club has a similar difficult task as champions designate Sparsholt come looking to clinch the title.  With Tom Allam scoring one of his three centuries of the season, Tichborne gave Sparsholt a real run for their money at Locks Lane earlier in the season.
Nayan Phagami is absent, so Sparsholt bring in former Guernsey batsman Tom Kimber.
Sparsholt: Frith, Haworth, Mitchard, O’Brien, Banks, Taylor, Doran, Doubell, Kimber, Weir, Sankey.
Rowledge are without all rounders Steve Martin and Sam Plater, but Ricky Yates and Sam Moseley return at Southern Gardens.
Rowledge: J Wish, C Yates Jnr, R Yates, Moseley, Lloyd, Wilson, Randall, Baker, Swan, Forbes, Keeley.
All but relegated Trojans, beaten by ten wickets in 38 balls by Tichborne Park last week, go to May’s Bounty where, by public demand, local  Basingstoke & North Hants all-rounder Joe Oates (above) will be giving a catch-coach MasterClass.
First team calls have weakened St Cross Symondians II against Langley Manor, for whom young Elliot Ponting has scored three 70-plus knocks in the past month.   Paultons host Waterlooville in the other match.
