Two prominent Southern Electric Premier League captains, whose grounds are barely one mile apart, have quit on the eve of the fourth round of matches. Richard Morris has stepped down as Bashley (Rydal) captain and will hand over the reins to former Dorset all-rounder Simon Watkins for Saturday's 'Kings of the Forest' derby with Lymington at the BCG. Less than a mile away, Ryan Beck has called it a day as leader of the New Milton pack, with James Park his replacement. Both former captains remain with their respective clubs and will play at the weekend, although Beck is currently suffering with a broken finger and will turn out for Milton's second team until he is fully fit. Stand by for further news in the coming days.
