Three members of the Bashley (Rydal) side that lifted the championship for the first time have been named in the ECB Southern Premier Division Team of the Year.
Skipper Michael Porter, leading run scorer Tom Friend and left-arm seam bowler Brad Currie are chosen alongside Str Cross Symondians trio Harry Came, Max Curtis and South African Marvin Williams.
Fellow Cape cricketer Hilio De Abreu, who took 30 wickets alongside his 678- run glut, shares the all-rounder spot with South Wilts’ James Hayward, whose left-arm guile accounted for 21 unsuspecting victims.
