The ECB Southern Electric Premier League has announced it's August 'Cricketer of the Month' awards, the Premier Division prize going to Ventnor's 11-wicket all-rounder Henry Bartlett. The 15-wickets James Rose took for relegated Calmore Sports got the Division 1 vote, despite Will Arnold scoring three half-centuries in a 222-run month for Andover. Overseas player Boswell Chapunga has taken the SPL2 award back with him to Zimbabwe after his 226 runs and seven wickets for Hursley Park, while evergreen lef-armer Paul Draper's 15 wickets helped South Wilts II take the Premier 3 crown.
