Four promising young cricketing talents have been selected for the forthcoming ECB Super 4s - a four cornered regional tournament which brings together the leading Under-17 players in the country - at Loughborough.
Hampshire Academy trio Felix Organ, Tom Scriven and Chris Searle are joined by Bashley (Rydal) left-arm pace bowler Brad Currie in the South & West squad, which will play against teams from the Midland, North and London/South East.
England Development Programme coach Ian Brunnschweiler, the former Hampshire Second XI cricketer, said: "It’s a reward for players working hard at their counties and developing and playing well at academy and second team level.
"To get selected for the Super 4s is a great honour and a great opportunity for them to show off their skills under a pressure situation.”
