Heavy mid-afternoon downpours put paid to the ECB Southern Premier Division matches at Bashley (Rydal), Basingstoke & North Hants and Bournemouth.
Harry Came had scored an unbeaten 67 of St Cross Symondians’ 118-1 (Jason Laney 35*) made at Bashley before a storm put paid to events after 28.4 overs.
Basingstoke & North Hants were 126-5 (Mitchell Stokes 32) against Burridge, while Peter Hopson (95) was agonisingly run out five runs short of his century as Havant posted 205-8 (Stu Ransley 32) by tea against Bournemouth at Chapel Gate, whereupon the rains came down. Tom Robinson took 3-45 for the Lions.
