Derek Kenway went on to make the England U15 squad that summer, while John Claughton (KES) captained England U14s v Scotland before later going up to Oxford. One of his England team-mates was a certain J Wilkinson (Lord Wandsworth College), who went on to represent his country at another sport and earned a World Cup winners' medal after popping over a few conversions !
Simon Francis, also of KES fame, subsequently played county cricket for Hampshire & Somerset.
