Ryde saw off a determined challenge from the IWCB's EPP side to win the Island indoor sixes and final and book a passage to Christchurch to play the Dorset winners in the opening phase of the 2018 ECB Sixes Championships in February.
With Stuart Robertson making 47 Ryde posted 143-5 (Williams 25), but had to hold on as the Island youngsters hit back with 135, Ventnor pair John Buckman (31) and Dan Cox (29) top scoring. Simon Wratten took 2-17.
Whoever wins the Hampshire indoor title (held for the past two years by ECB champions Sarisbury Athletic) will host Surrey in the qualifying round of the ECB Championships, with the winners qualifying for the Regional Finals in Canterbury.
