Sarisbury Athletic all-rounder Josh Hill has been named Village Cup 'Player of the Round' by The Cricketer magazine after his match winning century in last weekend's quarter-final victory over North Perrott at Allotment Road.
Hill hit 101 as Sarisbury beat the Somerset-based West of England Premier League side to clinch a place in the national semi-finals.
Ironically, Hill came within a whisker of winning the award in round two when he smashed a double century against Bramshaw - only to find his career-best 203 had been bettered elsewhere.
Shrewton's Will Harries (now with South Wilts) and Liphook & Ripsley all-rounder George Neave also won Gunn & Moore inscribed bats in the 2018 Village Cup.
