Sarisbury Athletic have recruited 20-year old medium-pace/swing bowler Ronan DeGrussa from the Western Australia CA Grade club Gosnells. He is due to arrive at The Hollow shortly after Easter.
DeGrussa made his first grade debut in the 2019/20 Perth season and made a first team place his own with 20 wickets in all formats in the WACA campaign just gone.
DeGrussa, who is taking a break from studying law at Peth's Murdoch University, was coached at Gosnells by former South Wilts and Western Australia left-arm pace bowler Ryan Duffield, who said: "He's a real competitor who loves getting into a contest. A handy late-order batsman, he's a great kid who works really hard at his game."
The Australian is the first of several new signings made by Sarisbury Athletic, who unveiled Paultons pair Nathan Feltham and Cameron Grierson against South Wilts at Allotment Road on Easter Saturday.
