Joint leaders Calmore Sports hope to have an opportunity to seriously dent Bournemouth’s own British Gas Southern League Division One title prospects - that's if the rain stops and the game goes ahead.
They are due to visit Chapel Gate in the knowledge that an away win would significantly widen the nine-point gap that exists between themselves and Bournemouth, who lie third.
Calmore ended Bournemouth’s three-match winning start to the campaign earlier in the season, but travel west minus Paul Proudley and Dom Duceillier, who made a maiden half-century in the defeat by Basingstoke a fortnight ago.
Tom Pegler’s inclusion beefs up the middle-order batting.
Calmore Sports: Perry, Cook, Johns, Manning, Rutter, Lavelle, Rose, Newton, West, Pegler, Croft.
Basingstoke, who have completed the double over Calmore, press on with their challenge at Liphook & Ripsley, who have dropped alarmingly into third from bottom spot.
Seamer Martyn James is bang in form with the ball after his 5-8 return at Calmore and taking eight wickets in last weekend’s ‘white ball’ challenge against Weybridge.
Basingstoke & North Hants: Stokes, Belcher, Froud, Metzger, Deadman, B Neal, Oates, Griffiths, James, Thankachan, A Neal.
Fourth-placed Hook & Newnham Basics, 18 points behind the top two, go to basement side Tichborne Park, while Rowledge visit a Sarisbury Athletic side boosted by Scotsman Chris Sole, left, who has been playing for the Academy.
Sarisbury Athletic: Journeaux, Rawlins, Floyd, J Hill, Sole, Mills, Sanders, Wright, Sampson, S Hill, Jewell.
Rowledge: B Wish, J Wish, S Martin, Treble, Plater, Lloyd, Metcalfe, Swan, Randall, Keeley, C Yates.

Ventnor can put their relegation fears firmly behind them with a win over mid-table Portsmouth at Newclose.
Ventnor: Duggan, Cheek, Van Greunen, Herridge, Westhorpe, Corbin, Calloway, Woodhouse, Snell, Wilson, Cox.
