Hampshire Academy all-rounder Scott Currie stuck three late blows as England Under-19 dismissed their Sri Lanka counterparts for 113 before clinching a four-wicket victory in the latest Tri-Series Youth International in the Antigua tournament.
The Poole -based talent took all three wickets in his second spell and finished with a 3-18 return off 7.4 overs, but wasn't required to bat as England polished off the target to beat a Sri Lanka side which thrashed the West Indies by 130 runs the previous day.
Currie, who has just signed a rookie contract with Hampshire, is hoping to gain a place in the 15-man England squad for next month's ICC Under-19 World Cup in South Africa.
