Bournemouth's Martin Miller hit an unbeaten half-century to steer Dorset to a seven-wicket win over previously undefeated Hampshire in the ECB 50-plus County Championship derby at Bashley (Rydal).
Dorset lost their opening two matches to Devon and Somerset on account of lukewarm batting displays, but were always ahead of the game with Brenden Fourie (47) and Pete Hayward (33) coming to the rescue after the hosts dipped to 87-5. Sean Wallbridge (4-32) and Joe Wilson ( 3-34) did the damage as Hampshire were dismissed for 179.
Dorset began with a 62-run partnership and cruised home with Miller 54 not out.
