Jimmy Adams and Michael Carberry smashed 129 in less than 12 overs as Hampshire went on a 255-run spree against Durham University in Barbados.
They peppered the boundary at the KMV Oval in St Andrew, with Adams hitting six maximums and Carberry ten.
Adams made 85 and Carberry 78 before Sean Ervine (28) and Gareth Berg (30) helped Hampshire on to 255-8 off 30 overs.
Off-spinner Brad Taylor was Hampshire’s bowling hero, the former England Under-19 captain taking 6-20 as Durham collapsed from 46-1 to 115 all out.
