Hampshire Seniors chase a third successive National Over-60s County Championship win against Wiltshire at Potterne on Tuesday after a somewhat nervy four-wicket victory over Gloucestershire at Hursley Park.
With Basingstoke & North Hants all-rounder Keith Harsham taking 4-38, Gloucestershire were struggling at 75-6.
Opener Keith Daniels (63) and Ken Earl (33) added 60 for the sixth wicket to raise the Gloucester total to 154.
Terry Morton (35) and Mike Swain (41) gave Hampshire a sound enough start, but the scoring rate was slow before Jon Floyd (35) stepped things up a gear.
Nonetheless, Hampshire lost six wickets before they passed the Gloucestershire total with eight balls to spare.
