Don’t write us off yet !
That the message coming through loud and clear from Burridge, who maintained their ECB Southern Premier League title challenge with a four-wicket win over Bashley (Rydal).

They go into the last two games of the season – at home to Havant this Saturday and at Alton on September 1 – trailing leaders St Cross Symondians by four points.
But they are going well in the 50-over format – the win at the BCG being their fifth on the bounce in the ‘white ball’ game.
It was also Bashley’s fifth Premier League defeat on the spin.
Joe Collings-Wells (85) and Hilio De Abreu (72 not out), the Cape Town-based South African with the Portuguese passport, batted Burridge to success.
But the real damage was done by Hampshire Under-17 paceman Oli Southon (3-44), who blasted out Bashley’s top three batsmen for a combined total of five runs to leave the Forest side rocking at 14-3.
“Ollie has taken a wicket in his first over in the past four games,” pointed out Burridge skipper Will Steward.
“He loves his cricket and tries to bowl every ball as quick as he can.  That is not a bad thing at his age. He has produced some devastating spells this summer.”
With Hampshire’s Lewis McManus having pulled out of the starting line-up the previous evening, it was left to Bashley skipper Michael Porter (21) to initiate the repairs.
He departed at 44-4, leaving Bournemouth University student Sam Kennett (63) and 16-year old Alex Turner (65 not out) to dig in with an innings-saving 111-run partnership.
Together, they progressed the Bashley total to 155, where-upon three wickets fell for as many runs, leaving the hosts grateful for an eventual 202-8.
Burridge’s run chase didn’t run altogether smoothly, although in the end they won at a breeze, with almost ten overs to spare.
At 62, Sean Read (4-37) nipped out James Richards and the prolific Richard Lock.
But Collings-Wells, one of eight Premier Division batsmen with 500-plus runs to his credit this summer, was in fine form.
In typically aggressive style and with a six and 13 fours, he struck a splendid 85 which largely won the game for the visitors.
He added 92 with De Abreu, whose unbeaten 72 saw Burridge across the line after the lanky Read caused unease in the ranks with two more wickets.
Burridge won with 204-6 to keep the pressure on St Cross Symondians at the top.
Steward insists Burridge won’t give up the chase to catch St Cross.
“We know it’s a tall order, but you never say never,” he said.
“St Cross have two games they might expect to win, but so do we against decent opposition.
“Whatever happens, it has been a terrific season. We always knew we had a decent side and have done well.”
