South East Hants Strikers completed an unbeaten winter indoor sixes season by winning the NatWest Under-16 Championship at the Ageas Bowl.
They held off a determined Hook & Newnham Hurricanes to win their semi-final by ten runs and then chased down a New Forest target of 125 to win the final by five wickets with four balls to spare.
Portsmouth & Southsea’s Ollie Kanavan led the way with the bat in both matches, while Gosport Borough talent Jacob Harris finished the season as the competition’s leading run scorer.
