Jack Mynott starred with bat and ball as South Wilts pulled off a 76-run win over Burridge at Bemerton to secure a probable third place finish in the ECB Southern Premier Division.
Opening, he hit 71 to lead South Wilts out of trouble at 39-3 and point his side towards a match winning 223-7 before removing Burridge danger-men Joe Collings-Wells and former Hampshire batsman Derek Kenway in a decisive 3-21 spell.
Tom Morton, Arthur Godsal and James Hayward were all back in the Wilton Road pavilion before the South Wilts score reached 40.
But Mynott linked with Ben Draper (45) to add 93 and lift South Wilts to 132-4.
Carefully going about his business and striking only two boundaries in his patient 110-ball stay the crease, Mynott paved the way to enable South Wilts to strengthen their position.
Newly-wed Peter Rowe (32 not out) prospered with Raff Hussey (16), Ryan Murray (19) and latterly Luke Evans as South Wilts moved on to 223-7.
The Burridge reply never really got into gear after Will Harries (2-20) and Godsal had made early inroads.
They dropped to 49-3 before Mynott (at 79-4) nipped out Collings-Wells (48).
They rallied to 129 (Kieran Geyle 20) before James Hayward (3-8) struck three more blows.
Kenway (43) watched from the non-striker’s end as Hayward whirled his magical triple – and then became a second victim for Mynott - with the influential Hayward again the catcher.
Burridge fell away to 147 all out, with Mynott wrapping up his gold award by bowling teenage wicket-keeper Oli Wright.
