South Wilts pair Tom Morton and James Hayward wrote a fresh chapter of Southern Electric Premier League history today with a maiden triple-century in the potential Premier Division title 'decider' against Havant at Bemerton. Morton made 168 and Hayward 141, the pair putting on 302 at South Wilts powered to 321-4. Ironically, South Wilts earlier lost Eddie Abel to the first ball of the match and Jack Mynott at 6-2. Havant were dismissed for 184, leaving South Wilts hot favourites for a fourth successive title.
