​At least 15 players with Southern Premier League connections are featured in The Hundred Draft, five of them having spent their embryo years with the Hampshire Academy at the Ageas Bowl.
Hampshire pair James Vince and Liam Dawson are in the Southern Brave squad, alongside spinner Max Waller, who played for Bashley (Rydal) while he was at Millfield.
Mason Crane has been signed by Shane Warne’s London Spirit, Benny Howell by Birmingham Phoenix and OTs & Romsey left-armer Chris Wood by the Oval Invincibles.
Birmingham Phoenix have signed former Bournemouth batsman/wicketkeeper Chris Cooke (now with Glamorgan), Ventnor raised Adam Hose and Benny Howell.
Ryan Higgins, David Payne (who played in Bournemouth’s ECB T20 Cup winning side of  2009) and Katie George cross the Severn Bridge to play for the Welsh Fire.

South African Cameron Delport, who played in Hampshire’s 2007 ECB Under-17 County Championship winning side while he was in the Sixth Form at Portsmouth Grammar School, has been snapped up by Birmingham Phoenix. [The defeated Durham side at Hove included one Ben Stokes].
Derbyshire’s Wayne Madsen, who has played hockey locally for Fareham, joins the Manchester Originals franchise.
