SPL1: MEDIA MAN FINGERS CALMORE SPORTS RETURN

Calmore Sports cricketer Matty Taylor is saving his pennies – as he’s a hefty fine coming his way !
The multi-talented goalkeeping cricketer dislocated a finger at soccer training with Downton in midweek and has ruled himself out of the Southern Premier Division 1 meeting with Portsmouth at Loperwood Park.
“Getting injured at pre-season football training in May is a serious fine offence. The boys will be happy to take some cash off him for the end of season party,” laughed Calmore skipper Mark Lavelle.
But while one door closes another opens … and Hampshire cricket media supremo Will Brewster is quick to step into Taylor’s shoes.
If you’re only as good as your last knock, Brewster is in good nick as he made a supreme 99 last time out – though that was last September against a Calmore Legends XI !
Portsmouth, beaten in both outings so far by Rowledge and Andover, have skipper James Christian back at the helm.
Calmore Sports: Lavelle, Bailey, Lepervanche, Wright, Taylor, West, Johns, Johnson, Perry, Moss, Manning.
Portsmouth:  Duggan, J Marston, Hammond, Christian, Hirani, Smitherman, D Wallis, Woolf, McArdle, A Marston, Webb.

The New Milton-Rowledge match promises to be an interesting one, with both sides unchanged after good starts.
Milton beat Sarisbury Athletic first up, having lowered Lymington’s colours in a pre-season game, while Rowledge are two out of two having beaten Portsmouth and Sarisbury Athletic so far.
New Milton: Watts, Edwards, Greig, Golding, Hall, L Beck, Loader, R Beck, Hussey, Bartlett, Mills.
Rowledge: Ben Wish, Jake Wish, Ollie Baker, David Lloyd, Jonty Sebborn, Ricky Yates, Sam Plater, Ryan Littlewood, Ethan Martin, Olly Ryman, Zac Le Reux.

After losing their opening two games, Sarisbury Athletic are anxious for success but having rolled Portsmouth over last weekend Andover will be no pushovers at London Road.
The Lions bring Brandon Smith for Max Souter in an otherwise unchanged side, while stuttering Sarisbury have been boosted by Simon Orr’s return to the club and Chis Sanders’ comeback from injury.
Sarisbury Athletic: Rawlins, Smith, J Hill, Lovett, Bolton, Franklin, Orr, Sanders, S Hill, Allmark, Jewell.
Sparsholt are unchanged at Totton & Eling, while Basingstoke & North Hants entertain St Cross Symondians II at May’s Bounty.
