Fletcha Middleton marked his return from Royal London Cup action with Hampshire by making 70 and Harry Stephens chalked up a 5-43 return with his off-breaks as Totton & Eling handed out a 119-run beating to Havant at the Park.
Middleton's knock was the ideal foil for Boswell Chapungu (25), Owen Morris (20) and James Taylor (24) before teenager Leon Taylor (42) arrived at the crease to push Totton on to 258-8.
Aldershot's pacey Tom Varney (2-8) whipped out young Ben Feeney and Stuart Ransley, and before Havant's reply had reached 20, Harry Gadd and George Metzger were also back in the pavilion, courtesy of the Cambridge University Light Blue Sam Beer (2-13).
Stephens (5-43) made regular inroads into the middle-order. Havant plunged to 38-7 before teenager Harrison Barnard (30), son of Simon, and Freddie Gadd, 42 not out, raised a disappointing reply to 139 all out.
