Hampshire Sixties entertain their Sussex counterparts at Portsmouth's St Helen's ground on Southsea seafront on Tuesday (1230) eager to avoid a repetition of last week's heartbreak defeat by Berkshire.
Andy Steggall (53), Geoff Beale (41), Dave Simpson (32) and Neil Trestrail (30) top scorer in Hampshire's 239 all out at Hurley, where Royal Ascot's Gary Clarke hit a match winning 112. Everything, though, hinged on the final over when Berkshire needed 15 runs to win. Aided by a dropped catch or two, they got home by six wickets with one ball to spare.
Hampshire are unchanged against Sussex: Trestrail, Steggall, Wheeler, Beale, Simpson, Sutherland, Adams, Goodman, Yates, Shephard, Marston.
* There is ample room for spectators to park inside the ground. Portsmouth's superb new pavilion will serve hot and cold drinks - and sell the odd beer - to quench thirsts.
