Teenage Lymington cricket all-rounder Josh Royan (left) has won a place at Oxford University and plans to study Economics & Management at Balliol College, starting next month.
The 18-year old, who made his ECB Southern Premier Division debut in July 2018 and is currently vice-captain of the side, achieved excellent A-level results in Maths, Further Maths, Economics and Physics at Winchester’s Peter Symonds’ College, having previously been at Priestlands.
Royan, who made 61 for Lymington at South Wilts this weekend, hopes to break into the Oxford University cricket team alongside Calmore Sports’ Ben Fisher and get a Blue next season.
