TICHBORNE TROPHY QUARTER-FINAL DRAW ANNOUNCED

Justin Reid bade his Tichborne Park farewells with a half-century in the 23-run Tichborne T20 Trophy second round victory over Bishop’s Waltham.
George Ayling also got 50 as Tichborne’s 166-6 proved just out of reach of Bishops.
The victory gives Tichborne a testing quarter-final home tie against Compton & Chandler’s Ford, who enjoyed a walkover against Chawton.
Quarter-final draw: Easton & Martry Worthy v Pothwar Lions, IBM Hursley v Rotherfield Park, Ropley v Longparish, Tichborne Park v Compton & Chandler’s Ford. Ties to be played on Monday June 12.
Results -
Easton & Martyr Worthy 155-2 (Dean Griffin 48, Matt Chamberlain 36, Jamie Banks 34) beat Owslebury 102-5 (Ian Heath 28) by 53 runs
Pothwar Lions 131-9 (Junaid 34) beat Hursley Park 126 (Jack Gilbert 25, Khurram 3-14) by five runs.
Willow 102-6 (C Rothwell 36*, George Austin 3-16) lost to Rotherfield Park 103-1 (Joe Paul 49*) by 9 wickets
Ropley 209-2 (Jack Ireland 53, George Wickens 43*) beat Owslebury II 140-9 (Sam Graham 3-15) by 69 runs
Longparish 137-8 (Scott Sturt 53*, Ross Stewart 4-9) beat Fair Oak 135-7 (T Hockenhull 26) by two wickets.
Tichborne Park 166-6 (Justin Reid 59, George Ayling 50) beat Bishops Waltham 143 all out by 23 runs
Compton & CF w/o v Chawton.
