TICHBORNE TROPHY SEMI-FINAL RESULTS

Tichborne Park will play East Tisted-based Rotherfield Park in the Winchester & District CA’s Tichborne Trophy final at Hursley Park on Thursday evening July 27.
In the semi-finals, Tichborne (163-7) held off Longparish to win by eight runs, while Mark Heffernan hit a half-century as Rotherfield Park (whose team is mainly comprised of Alton cricketers) cruised to a six-wicket win at Easton & Martyr Worthy.
Semi-final scores:

Tichborne Park 163/7 (Ryan Brooks 47, Ed Berry 27) beat Longparish 155/5 (Will Samways 53*, Michael Taplin 41) by eight runs
Rotherfield Park 107-4 (Mark Heffernan 50*) beat Easton & MW (Ian Stuart 27*, Dan Scott 3-13, Andy Tapp 2-19) by six wickets.

The Igglesden Trophy final, also at The Quarters, will be between Hursley Park and Wickham.

Hursley Park 130-1 (J Gilbert 50*, J Theobold 34) beat Willow Tree 129-8 (K Neave 36, S Berryman 29, B Chapungu 4-29) by nine wickets
Wickham 63-1 beat Fair Oak 62 all out (Chris Martin 3-2, Alex Reidy 3-20) by nine wickets
