Championship winning Rob Newman has been ‘selected’ as captain of the Southern Premier League Division 2 team of the season.
Having fine tuned the club’s pre-season training preparations, he went on to score 432 runs and take 26 wickets with his left-arm spin bowling.
OTs won the title, beating Hartley Wintney by one run in a thrilling winner-take-all showdown for the title on the final day of the season.

Led OTs & Romsey’s title charge from the front, scoring 432 runs and taking 26 wickets with his left-arm spin bowling.

Terrific solo show, scoring 295 runs and taking 37 wickets as South Wilts II fought a brave but ultimately unsuccessful bid to stave of relegation.
+ Will Kerr (Hartley Wintney)

* The 'Teams of the Season' were 'selected' by Premier League cricketers who voted 'leave' in the Brexit poll.
