New Milton batsman/wicketkeeper Tom Arnold collected the MVP award after playing the lead role as his adopted Australian club, Royal Park Brunswick won a Victoria Turf Association Grand Final against West Newport in Melbourne.
Arnold made scores of 42 and 52 for Royal Park in the final, besides snapping up five catches and a stumping in his side's eventual seven-wicket victory.
The Bramshaw-raised cricketer has enjoyed a decent season in the VTA, scoring an unbeaten century, along with a 69 and six knocks for 40 or more. He also made 30-plus dismissals behind the stumps.
