Openers Conor Browne and Tommy Spencer shared a 144-run stand to set up Langley Manor’s crushing 108-run defeat of Southern Premier League Division Two rivals St Cross Symondians II at Knellers Lane.
The pair breached the boundary rope 24 times between them, Browne scoring 85 (one six and 14 fours) and the developing teenage Spencer  (left) on nine occasion as he made his way to 62, his highest SPL score.
With Azeem Hamid (42) and Nick Wheeler, with a late 27, weighing in, the Manor put the game beyond Symondians’ reach at 289-9 (Matt Perry-Lewis 4-51).
Paul Hawkins (46), Jack Middleton (40) and Kelvin Lockwood (37) were the only St Cross batsmen to respond, spinner Spencer taking out the middle-order with a 3-33 return.
Trojans moved off the bottom with a comfortable 63-run win over visiting Basingstoke & North Hants at Stoneham Lane, where Abdul Manjra biffed a rapid 74 to turn the match on its head.
Trojans were struggling at 106-5 (Keith Harris 3-38) when Manjra arrived at the crease to smash five big sixes and seven fours, and dominate a century stand with Rahul Bhone (39 not out) as the Stoneham side powered to 222-7 (Nigel le Bas 41).
Basingstoke were bowled out for 159 (Richard Vinn 49), Neil Adderley (4-21) and Mario Mohamad (3-32) taking a lion’s share of the wickets.
