Sparsholt and Rowledge look to have their hands full in Sunday's opening Davidstow Village Cup national round.
Chiltern League side Wraysbury leave their splendid ground alongside the River Thames at Windsor to play Sparsholt, while Rowledge host Kent League team Sibton Park.
Wraysbury currently lie third in the Chilterns League, with Jayesh Mohan among a handful of talented Asian cricketers in their ranks.
But, at this level, Sparsholt have match winners of their own and, with a full strength side on duty at the Norman Edwards Ground (1pm), will be looking to make home advantage count.
Sparsholt: Worth, Haworth, Dunford, Tognarelli, Vokes, Jenner, Foster, N Doubell, M Doubell, Dilley, Gough.
Rowledge lost to Sibton Park the last time they met the Folkestone club, who play their Saturday cricket alongside one time Kent League heavyweights Gore Court, Gravesend, Holmesdale and St Lawrence & Highland Court.
David Lloyd’s prospects are handicapped by the absence of left-hand opener Chris Yates, who is on a school soccer tour to the USA, but otherwise Rowledge are at full strength for the School Lane tie.
Rowledge: D Lloyd, N Morant, R Yates, I Metcalfe, J Wish, R Forbes, B Wish, C Yates snr, T Wheatley, G Keeley, W Davies.
The other southern ties feature Dinton v Langlebury, Findon v Rottingdean, Goatacre v Wembdon, Roche v Ynystawe.
