A trio of local Southern Premier League clubs will have Lord’s date to dream about if they progress beyond Sunday’s ECB national indoor sixes championship regional finals.
Sparsholt carry the Hampshire banner to Canterbury for the south-east play-offs, while Bashley (Rydal) and South Wilts head west to Somerset’s indoor headquarters at Taunton.
Beating Burridge and Waterlooville last weekend secured a maiden Hampshire indoor crown for Sparsholt, who expect to take an unchanged side to the St Lawrence ground for a semi-final meet-up with Crawley-based Ifield, relegated out of the Sussex Premier League in 2018.
The winners will play either home town club Canterbury or Wimbledon for a place at Lord’s on March 31.
Skipper Dave Banks, pictured, led Sarisbury Athletic to Lord’s two years ago and is keen for a return trip to the Grace Gates.

As Dorset champions, Bashley (Rydal) have qualified for the ECB play-off stages for the first time – but Exeter University, beaten semi-finalists in the BUCS Championships last weekend, look to provide stern semi-final opposition.
Bashley (Rydal): Phil Morris, Michael Porter, Tom Jacques, Sam Kennett, Brad Currie, Jake Lilley.
If they win and South Wilts prevail against Cheltenham Civil Service, there will be an all Southern Premier League south-west final – but it’s a big call.
South Wilts, who successfully defended the Wiltshire indoor title last weekend, call up Joe Cranch to replace the Barcelona-bound Sam Pittman.
South Wilts: Rob Pittman, Tom Pearce, Tom Cowley, Joe Cranch, Will Harries, Matt Burton.
