Hook & Newnham Basics will play South Wilts for a place in the ECB national Under-15 Club Championship finals if they win their respective regional semi-final ties at Millfield School today [Monday].
But first Hampshire champions Hook must beat Exmouth and South Wilts defeat Cardiff side Lisvane.
Hook qualified for the national phase of the competition by retaining the Hampshire title with a tight 13-run win over Fair Oak, successfully defending 109-7 (Callum Doran 25).
Mo Abbas (3-14) and wicketkeeper Matt White, with five stumpings, caught the eye for the junior Oaks, who were pegged to 96-9 (Fletcha Middleton 25) in reply.
Harry Robson, pictured, came to the fore with the bat, making back-to-back half-centuries as Hook thrashed Ryde by 66 runs in ECB round 1 before knocking out Dorset winners Parley to clinch a place in the western zone finals.
Robson (52) and Charlie Neville (50) each made fifties as Hook & Newnham piled up 208-5 (Will Wyatt 48) before Ryde replied with 142-2, Fareham hockey starlet Rory Buckeridge hitting 51.
Robson (50) and Wyatt (31) were prominent again as Hook posted 147-7 (Tom Saunders 3-37) before a spell of 4-17 by spinner Callum Doran reduced Parley to 98 all out (Andrew Cooke 29).
South Wilts carried off the Wiltshire crown with Edward Wade (50) top scoring in their 147-2 (Chris Chaddock 31) against Chippenham (119-4).
But the ECB qualifier against Dumbleton went to the wire, with South Wilts heroically defending 86-8 (Wade 34) as their Gloucestershire hosts came back with 83-8.
