UNDER-16 INDOORS : ALEX SINKS HOOK INTO QUICK-SANDS

Alex Sands, pictured, powered an unbeaten 64 as Parley bowled Hook & Newnham Basics off the top of the NatWest Under-16 Indoor Cricket Championship table.

The Dorset county all-rounder guided Parley to 149-9, a total they successfully defended as Parley came in 25 runs short at 124-4, despite an unbeaten half-century by Rupes Armstrong.
Hook bounced back with a tight four-run win over improving South Wilts
